Lake Forest Heritage Hill Historic Park is a popular tourist attraction located at 25151 Serrano Road in Lake Forest, California, United States. The park spans 4.1 acres and features four fully restored and furnished historic buildings that showcase the early history of the Saddleback Valley and El Toro area. From the Mexican Rancho era to the citrus farming days of the early twentieth century, visitors can explore the Serrano Adobe, El Toro Grammar School, St. George's Episcopal Mission, and the Harvey Bennett Ranch House.
Free "walk-in" tours are offered weekly on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at 11 a.m. for individuals and groups of seven or less. "Nice park with some cool history. Take a tour of the historic church and the old school. No entry fee. Plenty of places to sit and a couple picnic tables."
"Not only is this my favorite at holidays (Halloween & Xmas) but year round. The grounds are so beautiful, and the history so exciting to see. This year’s Xmas displays and holiday fun for all really topped my holiday fun experiences. It was so beautiful and the staff truly outdid themselves. All the details, including the big smiles on all the park employees, made this event my ultimate favorite. Thank you to everyone who helped make our holidays extra special."
"Beautiful Christmas display! Make sure you go…. Highly recommended. December 8-10 from 5 pm - 9 pm. There is tons of parking. Use the whole shopping center, it’s about a two minute walk. Excellent display of lights. Plenty of things to do for the kids. It takes about 45 minutes or so to walk through the whole park enjoying the lights around. Enjoy the walk and take it all in! It was beautiful. Free parking, free park entrance, nothing else you need!"
"Couldn't be happier with their hollowed event. Well organized with volunteers and OC pack employees at each photo station helping you take group photos. Good job guys ❤️❤️❤️"
"We went to Heritage Hill for their 3 night only Christmas event. Free parking, free entry, volunteers and PC Park Rangers to take photos, and amazing decor. What a wonderful family outing that costs nothing. A rare find at this time of the year. Can't wait to go back in the day and do some exploring."
