Lavender Inn

"This amazing retreat was the perfect hideaway for us trying to do a getaway/staycation! I have stayed here a couple of times in the cute rooms in the Inn, however my most recent trip I was able to stay in the cottage. OMG! I have to say, it was amazing! Not only was the service and food top notch, there is a private outdoor patio for my husband and I to have happy hour in the privacy of our own space. The grounds at the Lavender Inn are lovely, and I enjoy lounging outside, but to have your own private patio... over the top! The cottage was also so spacious and I felt like it was a home away from home! The staff at Lavender Inn were there to make sure we had everything we needed... and we did... I love my tea, and they made sure I had it. I love this little haven, walking distance to amazing restaurants, and shopping... and just 30 min from Ventura!"

"Oh my gosh!! Wow!! I was gifted a full spa day experience here, and it was easily one of the best experiences of my life. Kali was my therapist for the day, she was so kind and caring. We started off with an incredible foot soak/massage in the garden. There were butterflies fluttering around, birds chirping. The energy was unreal. We continued on with my full body massage, Kali was so caring, and does incredible work. She communicates well, and speaks softly. I felt so safe and cared for with her. After massage I enjoyed a light lunch in the garden, with a very handsome boy named Mister. (Mister is a cat, I love cats.) After lunch Kali brought me to Aubrey for my facial, and again, WOW!! Aubrey is so sweet, and you can feel her love and light as soon as you step in. The facial includes local, and natural products. They all smelled great, and I felt so relaxed I think I fell asleep. These girls are a master of their craft, and I am so overjoyed and grateful for this incredible experience. Thank you thank you!!! I can't wait to come back!"

"We stayed here for 2 nights in October 2023 with our dog. We stayed in the cottage and the pictures do not do it justice at all! The cottage is very spacious and the living room area is very inviting and comfortable. The fully fenced backyard is relaxing and the French door leading from the bedroom and from the living room into the cottage are dreamy! The bed is super comfy and they are very dog friendly: they provided bowls, treats, poop bags and a dog bed. We very much appreciated this! The breakfast was okay, although I wish I had known that they also have yoghurt and granola instead of baked goods every morning. The location is great, there’s a supermarket in front of the inn and it’s close to a lot of restaurants and shops in Ojai. The cottage truly was amazing and it did not feel old at all. Very well restored and very comfortable. Would recommend! Giving 4 stars instead of 5 because I would have loved to have a better breakfast for the price you pay. I would love to give 4.5 but that isn’t possible."
