"Oak Newton Park is a big open grassy park with lots of picnic tables, restrooms, drinking water fountain, and 2 playgrounds. A small paved concrete path winds through the park and connects to the residential sidewalk of the surrounding neighborhood. The open grassy area and paths are a popular spot for dog walkers and a lot of people let their dogs off leash here. There are 2 playgrounds: one for 5-12 year olds by the restrooms and another one for toddlers. Both of the playgrounds are in good shape and there are swings at the big kid playground."
