Almond Avenue Neighborhood Park

"Nice and relaxing area. Great for picnics and a outing with the kid. It has a big open grass area for the kids to run around and a playground for them to climb on. All the beautiful trees give lots of shade and create a relaxing atmosphere. Playground has a small water play area the kids can cool off in during the day. The park is connected to the Arroyo Trail which you can walk, bike, scoot or blade to the Livermore Skate Park, Livermore Library, Robinson Park or as far as you like to go. In my opinion this place needs a little sprucing up but overall it's a great park."

"Very nice, quaint park in Livermore. Plenty of shade around tables and benches but looks pretty limited shade for the play structure as the surrounding trees are relatively short (I was there at midday though for full disclosure so I'm just guessing)"

"It's by my old elementary school. They have a nice pinic/barbeque area in the front and back, some nice grassy areas, a newer jungle gym, nice and shaded walking trail. POKEMON GO This is one of the more isolated Pokemon gyms in Livermore. There are only two pokestops within 50meters of the gym. Now for all the Pokemon that spawn at the park if you go walk into my old school around the parking lot or auditorium hella Pokemon spawn with your tracker blank. I recommend having at least 30+ poke balls to spare if you wanna catch the whole nest."
