"Nice little community garden at the foot of the Kovar Trail to Ridgetop Trail Loop at Shell Ridge. This locale is the gateway to Kovar Trail to Ridgetop Trail Loop at Shell Ridge Park. Nice trails crisscrossing the foothills between Walnut Creek and Pleasant Hill/Concord. Views of Las Trampas Ridge, Walnut Creek, Concord, Benicia and Mt. Diablo."

"Quaint little park that has some great local history and a community garden. Best part is that it's a great entry point to the Indian Creek trail that leads to a bigger network of trails that goes on for hours."

"I absolutely love homestead park. It’s a little gem here and not a lot of people know about it. I like taking my dog here. The gardens are also very pretty too! Also from here you can go to shell ridge and that also is a days worth of fun!"
