Known as Nashville's most iconic dive bar, Melrose offers a classic atmosphere with affordable drinks, pool tables, ping pong, shuffleboard, darts, and classic bar food.
Join us for our 444 Happy Hour from 4pm to 8pm every day, where you can enjoy $4 all beer and $4 well liquor. On Melrose Monday from 8pm to close, we offer half off all local beer and $5 Green Briar Whiskey shots. Please note that you must be 21 to enter, and smoking is not permitted as of March 1, 2023.

"The bartenders and bouncers (not all but most) seem to be discriminatory based on looks. Me and my friends are multiple races and ages and we have been refused service and asked what age we were although we showed our IDS multiple times. Very disappointed."
"I've found my new home! Came in after hearing about the history of the place, and I wasn't disappointed. I wouldn't call it a dive bar, because it's nicer than I expected. But this is the kind of place you order a beer or a shot - not overpriced craft cocktails. And the pizza isn't half-bad either. But what stood out were the bartenders - Andrew and Zoey were awesome! Anyone who complains about the service don't know what they're talking about."

"1st time here. What a pretty cool place to have a drink and of course play some pool or ping pong. The drinks are a great price smd the atmosphere is amazing.. The only reason why it didn't get 5 stars because of the HVAC ventilation system. It's not the greatest especially if you allow smoking which I think is awesome. This place shows Freedom still rings in this country. Please get a better ventilation system! Lol"
