"After a tailoring mishap with my original wedding gown (not from Glitz) I called Glitz in a frenzy. I let them know I only had two months before by wedding day and had to find another dress. They fit me in same day for an emergency appointment and Lisa helped me find my DREAM dress. The team was so supportive and I couldn’t haven’t done it without them! THANK YOU!"

"Literally everything about my appointment was perfect! I tried on dresses at a different store about 2 months ago and fell in love but I didn’t like one detail on the dress. Brides by glitz had that same dress so of course i filled it again. I got there about an hour early and they let me look around and then I got in for my appointment early and the lady helping me her name was carol and she was so kind and heard me out about everything I wanted and needed. I even tried on dresses that wasn’t in my original thought and she was very supportive in it all! She was very patient with me and supported me in every dress I loved and hyped me up! I found my perfect dress and had some heart to heart moments with my family crying of happiness and she took pictures of all of us together and the entire experience was incredible!!!!! I had such an amazing and successful time here and loved it so much!!!!"

"I’m not one to write reviews, but no one should have to incur the wedding dress shopping experience that I did. Walking into the shop, I was greeted by the front desk and our consultant took us upstairs to the dress rooms. The consultant didn’t introduce herself. The first thing she said was that brides who shop as early as I do only like shopping or don't know what they want. Not that I have to explain myself, but I explained that I’m a grad student who will graduate a few months before our wedding and don’t have a lot of free time. Next, she took me throughout the store pointing out designers/designs. I had pulled out a dress and she said “ You have an upside down triangle body type, so that neckline won’t work for you”. I don’t believe bridal consultants should comment on brides body types without invitation. Throughout the appointment, the consultant kept referencing my family rather than talking directly to the bride. She said the dress I envisioned didn’t exist and that I needed a custom gown. The bridal consultant also continued to pull dresses that weren’t in line with the vision, despite vetoing different skirt types and necklines. Speaking on a business level, it seemed that they only had a few designers and only a few options within each category of dresses. Brides are also standing and revealing dresses right next to each other. It’s difficult to not get frustrated when the bride next to you is having a more successful appointment! At the end of the day, there were many flaws with this appointment and bridal consultant. I did end up finding a dress the same day and recommend The White Magnolia in Franklin, TN! Don’t waste your time at Brides by Glitz!"

"I had the most amazing experience finding my dress at Glitz. Sheila was so knowledgeable and attentive and helped me find “the one”’ on my first try! It’s like she read my mind even though I wasn’t completely sure what I was looking for. I had more appointments booked at other bridal stores and I cancelled them all. I am SO grateful I went here first. The whole staff is incredibly sweet and they have created such a welcoming environment, not to mention their gown selection is to die for. Seriously, the whole process from start to finish could not have been smoother. I would recommend them to anyone!!"

"When your daughter gets engaged, run, don’t walk, to Glitz. Call for an appointment and ask for Sheila. I had several of my friends get their mother of the bride dresses there and I have lived in Nashville for over 30 years; Glitz has always been here. They are experienced professionals with “in-house” alterations people which is key. I’ve heard too many horror stories of dresses being ruined by random alterations ladies. Sheila asked my daughter for pictures of dresses she liked and within 5 minutes she came back with about 5-6 dresses. Each one was great. We looked at one other store and it didn’t hold a candle to Glitz. We cancelled our other appt and went back to Glitz. Sheila was so helpful and honest and not pushy at all. She gave very helpful advice. I ended up under my budget for the wedding dress. I also found my dress there and Sheila helped with that one as well. A great experience overall!!!!
