"I strongly advise against enrolling in TCAT due to its unprofessionalism and hostile teacher-student interactions. The institution fails to uphold basic standards of professionalism, with educators consistently subjecting students to ridicule and making their learning experiences unnecessarily difficult. Such an environment not only hinders academic growth but also damages students' self-esteem and confidence. It is crucial to seek a more supportive and respectful educational institution that values its students' well-being and promotes a positive learning atmosphere. My concerns with cosmetology teacher Mrs. Christina Heard, revolve around her unprofessional behavior and lack of respect. It deeply troubles me to hear that this teacher engaged in making fun of my daughter to other students in the class. In class Mrs. Heard would often point and whisper with other students to which they would break out in laughter. Such behavior not only creates a hostile learning environment but also reflects poorly on the teacher's ability to provide a nurturing and respectful atmosphere for students. It is crucial that educators maintain a high level of professionalism and treat their students with kindness and dignity, which appears to be lacking in this case. I believe it's important for the school administration to address this issue promptly to ensure that all students receive the quality education and support they deserve. Mrs. Heard has a troubling pattern of singling out particular students and subject them to undue pressure and criticism, which can ultimately lead to those students feeling isolated and overwhelmed. This harmful behavior has serious consequences, including causing some students to drop out of school and seek education elsewhere. It's crucial for educators to foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where every student has an equal opportunity to thrive academically and emotionally, free from the negative impact of favoritism or undue criticism. I strongly believe that it is imperative for Mrs. Heard to be relieved of her teaching position. Her consistent unprofessional behavior and evident inability to effectively educate students have been a cause for great concern. In the classroom Mrs. Heard fails to create a conducive learning environment, often displaying behavior that undermines their credibility as an educator. Her teaching methods lack engagement and fail to inspire students' learning. It is essential for our educational system to provide competent and professional teachers who can nurture and guide students effectively, and sadly, Mrs. Heard does not meet these essential criteria. I intend to take the necessary steps to file formal complaints with the state of Tennessee. These complaints will address specific issues and concerns that require official attention and resolution. It is my hope that through this process, we can bring about positive change and ensure that our concerns are properly addressed and resolved within the legal framework of the state."
