"After deciding to replace decades-old carpet and linoleum we talked with three local flooring companies and received two bids. We then contacted Abode and, after a short meeting with the owner, Patrick Leung, were pretty sure that Abode was the company for us. Once we chose our materials, Abode's bid was significantly lower than the other two companies, and we accepted it. Our floors were in place shortly thereafter, leaving us pleased and impressed. There was one "bump" involving the LVP (luxury vinyl plank) that was laid in the kitchen. Some of the planks appeared to be scratched in an oddly uniform way. When we reported what we thought to be a defect to Patrick he went back to the manufacturer, who told him that the uniform "scratches" were, in fact, representative of milling marks that would appear in wooden boards. Patrick nonetheless obtained some additional planking and had the problematic planks replaced with no added cost to us. It was a pleasure, and very easy, to deal with Abode and its owner from beginning to end. We enthusiastically recommend Abode for your flooring needs."

"We had a great experience working with Abode Flooring! When we closed on our new home in Lafayette, we wanted to repaint the interior and install new wood floors throughout the house before moving in. The challenge was that we only had one month between the closing and the end of our lease in San Francisco! Patrick was able to think creatively and work on our fast timeline. Because Abode Flooring has local connections, he was able to pre-order the floors (while the painters were doing their work) and store them at his warehouse. The day after the painters finished, he dropped off the floors so they could acclimate in our house over the weekend. "Top notch service! Patrick the owner was very professional and updated me throughout the entire process. Due to the pandemic, there have been supply chain issues but Patrick made sure we were on schedule every step of the way. Because of our renovation time line, we were on strict schedule and having Patrick guide us made it a breeze. The after service from Adobe flooring was top notch as well. Patrick made sure we are happy with our floors. He did a final walk through with us and explained everything in detail.
