"I love coming to this place. The owners are really fun, kind and helpful. I make small pieces of furniture and crafts and whenever I come here I always find something at a fair price that's good quality. Staff almost always go out of their way to help me find what I am looking for. I bought a piece of elm and some walnut today that I'm excited to work with. They have a nice little area of wood near the front thats discounted plus some large slabs of all different types of wood, great for projects. Its a great spot for firewood too!"

"Great place to stop and buy firewood it’s fairly cheap like 5 to 6 dollars a cubic foot and you have a selection of soft and hard burning. Nice lady at the front who is very helpful and friendly."

"Really the best. Talking to James and Caroline is a hoot, some of the nicest brits you'll ever meet. Super knowledgeable about current types of wood to burn and their slabs are gorgeous. I only need a little at a time for my little pizza oven but I love visiting to get great almond wood."
