"What a great find! I just moved to the Oakland Hills and have been visiting Economy Lumber and Home Depot and finding it so hit and miss.... not to mention it's a shyt show at both places. I found larson Lumber on a Google search and it was like a breath of fresh air. The staff was both helpful on the phone but even more helpful in person. It's not a huge place but it's well curated... It was some of the best redwood this side of Santa Cruz where I just came from. Prices are fare and the service exceptional.... What more could you want? I'm going to have a beautiful outdoor shower surround (horizontal fence) with 1x4 clear redwood I got today. They got some nice Moore & Newton plywood in that shed too and have to go back for some red oak when I get to the new bathroom vanity!"

I am just a homeowner. I shop for home project items and backyard tools. They offer high quality tools and fixtures, many brands are made in America, at reasonable prices. Owner cares more about developing customer relationships than just making a sale. Store and grounds are kept impeccably clean, easy to find what you need. Family owned, not part of some mega national chain. Nothing pushy just helpful, knowledgeable advice. Have Spanish speaking salespersons on staff. Plenty of parking."
