It's very difficult to find people who will do male Brazilians, so I was pleased when Chanel told me she does them while I was getting a facial (which was great by the way). I went to a couple other people to get waxed, and while they both had lots of experience and were great, after coming into Skin Techniques it's obvious that Chanel is simply a cut above the rest. She has tons of experience and a great portfolio. She's very professional, uses high quality products, and very clearly knows exactly what she's doing. The waxing was less painful than at the other places I went, and she was very thorough. She even went back over and plucked individual hairs that didn't get picked up by the wax, whereas other places kind of just laughed and said that it happens sometimes. She also did a great job making me feel relaxed for something that is frankly pretty embarrassing, and on top of that gave me some amazing skincare product suggestions that weren't at all expensive, or even exclusively sold at this studio! It's clear she knows a lot about skincare, and really cares about her clients getting the best care and products possible over just selling them the most expensive products she can to make a quick buck.
