"I am so disappointed to have to write this review. We have been using Ables shop for a few years now. We have always paid our bills and tried to be as reliable, nice and clear as possible. As you can see from the repairs list we have had extensive work done at this shop over time. We even had him replace the head gasket on our truck after we went through seven months of diagnostics because there was only one symptom (This was all previous to Able). We own an off-road vehicle and we use it so it needs maintenance and repairs pretty frequently even if its just greasing. After gas prices jumped up we purchased an older Lexus ES with only 39k miles on it. Had Able go through the car and everything looked good except a power steering leak which caused some confusion because we didn't find out about it until we went to get the car. Which is very unusual and caught us off guard. If Able finds something while working on it he always calls us and we either approve the repair or schedule a time to get the new repair done. Because we had just purchased the vehicle the dealer ended up repairing the PS issue for us for just wholesale parts cost. This wasn't anything negative on Able, as far as we know it was already there. We had just paid quite a bit of money before this to have the brakes on our 4runner done with Able as well. Within a month the brakes started squeaking and are making a rashing sound when driving that sounds like metal on metal. The brakes are so soft now we are rarely able to drive the truck because it takes a long time to stop. It's heavy, as its loaded with gear. Now, it's unsafe. My husband tried to contact Able over the past few months or so trying to arrange new repairs. Honestly just to arrange new repairs, the brakes haven't even came up again. We got no response on social or via text. So, this morning I decided to call him myself. We have been customers a long time, when things split there was no issue so why not i'll just call. As soon as he answered the phone and I said who it was, I knew he didn't wanna talk to me. IDK what happened, or when whatever it was happened. But, what a terrible avoidable situation. We are now looking into new shops. Its hard honestly to find good mechanics, I wish you the best Able."
