"I wouldn't take my E46 M3 anywhere else. Recently purchased a higher mileage e46 m3 with the intention of making it a street-driven track car. Have known about Lang for years, and didn't even consider taking the car to anyone else. Took it to them the day after I got it, to give it a thorough look over, as they know these cars as well as anyone. I made my intentions to keep the car for another 100k mi known, and Daryl understood, recommending preventative maintenance to do so. My favorite thing about them is that they will steer you straight, and even advise against unnecessary parts or other mods companies try to sell you. I've frequently been recommended lower cost, oem parts over more expensive aftermarket parts, which is fantastic- It's evident they are M purists, and know these cars inside and out. Since ownership, Daryl and Team have done my rod bearings, differential service/mounts, oil pan gasket, replaced engine mounts, installed Ohlins coilovers with PERFECT alignment (honestly, just the alignment alone shows such attention to detail and care based on my goals for the car), pulleys/belts, and upcoming big brake kit. Listen to Lang, and trust them with your M car."

"Andrew Lang has quite the reputation which is why I took my M3 in after I spun a rod bearing. After agreeing to a rebuild and a long anticipated wait, I was disappointed to notice immediately that the first engine was a failure and failed leak down tests. Andrew took the car back in for another go at a second block. Upon picking up the car, I was not given any paper work or warranty information against CA law. I was just so excited to get the car back so I didn’t know the laws and certainly thought that Andrew would’ve gotten it right. Fast forward to increased oil consumption over a greater period of time only to find out the original engine is the only one with a warranty. Now the car goes through a quart of oil every 3 days of normal driving. Out 14k$ and soft threats of legal action with no real admittance of a lack of quality work. See attached pics for wet and carbon junked plugs with 3k miles total across all cylinders as the car sits now/ You can get crate S54s from Germany now, was not an option at the time. A valuable and expensive lesson learned. Proceed with caution. There are a few other reviews similar to my experience and I’m sure Andrew would place the blame on me as he did previously with a smart response failing to note that his work and attention to detail with me was repeatedly out of spec and exactly the cause for this situation and why my car still, after years, is jacked up."

"Took my E46 Mini GP in... Met with Matt who performed the alignment. Met with Andrew very humble guy. The shop is clean, many E46 M3's at the time I was in. Matt mentioned they do a M3 E46 SMG to Manual conversion. This make me want to look into getting a M3!"
