"I've been working with Kourtney Terry with First Command as my financial advisor for a couple of months now. She's helping me with budgeting and tackling debt now and will also help me with my investments and life insurance soon. Pros: 1. She is a delight to work with. She's smart, super helpful, personable, bubbly, and great at explaining financial stuff. I'm not a financial newbie so she speaks to me in terms that I know and explains where it's needed. I imagine she'd be great at educating a beginner. 2. You can tell she cares about her clients. I don't feel judged or nervous to see her because I know she has my best interests in mind. 3. She's very accessible through texting, emails, calls, etc. and it's easy to get in to see her face-to-face. 4. Her physical office building is welcoming. They have bottled waters, soda, coffee, tea, etc. up front in the waiting room. The administrative lady at the front always has a smile. Kourtney normally has a wood-wicked candle crackling in her large private office. Cons: NONE Overall, I'm very pleased with working Kourtney as my financial advisor. She has gained my trust and I have even recommended her to my mom. Making tough financial decisions can be hard by myself; I'm glad I know Kourtney has my back."
