"I went to Dr.Ramgopal and I had a cleaning and a crown replacement done. I have been asked to pay close to 900 dollars out of my pocket apart from insurance coverage. I was never given an estimate at the beginning and I have learnt a lesson to always to talk upfront of your charges . The unpleasant experience is where the doctor throws a random number to pay and once you ask questions ,they try to reduce the cost . I didn’t get a response on the over all billing yet and have been reaching out so many times . The doctor also didn’t like that I raised questions on the billing and was unfriendly in the next visit . Overall I felt very uncomfortable with the experience. As other pointed out this business in NOT ethical and I would never want to go again ! Added on 2/28 I figured out after a few months that my insurance has covered most of the cost and the hospital owed me 200 dollars which they didnt communicate until I reached out .Took another month to get my money back :("
