"I don’t know much about Dr. West, but her stay-at-home receptionist is very rude and does not follow through. I had this appointment scheduled out for 2 months, then the day before it was moved up an hour, then the day of they cancelled the appointment with no apology or explanation. Then, the same receptionist, Pam, I think never called me back so when I called her back she scheduled a time that wouldn’t work for me. I will be looking for another psychologist. Very unprofessional."

"Dr. West sounded like she needed a break and therapist herself. I called about an appointment and she picked up being rude about calling before the office opened.. Lady why did you pick up if the office was not open? I hope she isn’t going to work today with that attitude.. especially to work with people who are going through rough times. Advice Dr. West…Get out the field if you are burned out!!!!!"

"Dr. West herself is absolutely amazing. She is extremely thorough with her evaluations, assessments, and written reports. She was wonderful with our small child and guided my family through the process very nicely. I'd happily recommend Dr. West to anyone who needed psychological evaluations, especially for children...however...her receptionist/billing manager/office manager (not sure of her title) was the rudest person I've come across in quite some time. We struggled to get an appointment for our final evaluation results. Granted, this was during COVID, so we were fully prepared for some adjustments that needed to be made. Unfortunately, the lady who answered the phone (not Dr. West) when we called with some questions was just beyond rude. We were yelled at and hung up on. Even though they had already been paid by our insurance, this lady demanded full payment before we could even make the appointment to get the test results. We asked for a billing statement and a way to pay, as we never refused to pay. She stated that they had never had to produce a billing statement before. Odd. When I consulted with an attorney on whether or not this was legal (since they'd already received the payment from insurance) and mentioned that we'd consulted an attorney, her attitude changed. We had a successful meeting with Dr. West and were able to pay our portion of the bill. If a new office manager is put in place, we'd happily return to Dr. West in the future for any needs we may have, but I'd strongly advise seeking treatment elsewhere as long as this manager is still in position. It's truly disappointing because Dr. West is absolutely amazing and very good at what she does."
