"The dental office is small and private which I liked. I also liked the dental assistant because she was friendly, gentle and extremely welcoming. I disliked the whole process of my treatment afterwards. The dentist is a much older woman who does not understand how to gently touch people specially when your teeth are in so much pain. She continued to push my chin down aggressively throughout the whole time. Once the cleaning treatment began, this was the worst part. Due to my sensitivity with certain teeth I kept moving my face unwillingly due to the amount of pain I was in. I've had cleanings done before where the dentist actually applies numbing gel beforehand to help me with the pain. This dentist kept telling me in a loud voice to stop moving! I understand she needs to do her job and me moving was not helping so I tried making fists and taking deep breaths but at some point i stopped her and told her I was in pain. She stopped and just stared at me as if to say " ok are you done?" Um, no my tooth hurts! Its like getting stabbed in the eye and getting told not to move! So finally after the cleaning treatment she takes off and I never saw her again. Then the dental assistant gave me water to rinse and said I was all set. My whole mouth was sore and bloody so I asked if I could please have some mouthwash to take the bloody taste off my mouth. When I got home I noticed my gums were bruised and I was still bleeding from certain areas for the rest of the night! Hardly anyone likes going to the dentist but this visit represents exactly why!!"
