"The kids have been seeing Dr. McNerney for the past 15 years. The staff are always nice and helpful. We’ve never had a single issue. They always get us in when needed and we never have to wait long in the waiting area. I feel blessed to have found our doc."

"Dr. Macias he is amazing! I am 33 years old today and Dr. Macias was my pediatrician when I was a baby! I now have 2 boys who are 13 and 3. They now have Macias !! My 13 year old is on the autism spectrum. Macias is very helpful with my sons needs. Always enjoy our visits for well checks and even if my boys are sick and need to be treated. All the staff from the Doctors to the lady’s working front desk and the nurses station are all so happy to be at work so and so friendly, and caring. They are like a family ! Also to add they do have clean exam rooms. And restrooms. Through the years we have seen or had a check up from ALL the doctors/ practitioners (Only if Dr. Macias was booked at the time)All docs are very well educated. You won’t be disappointed at this office!!!"

"**this review is solely for the assistants at central coast pediatrics** it’s a bummer that I have to write this because the drs here are 10/10. My 3 visits it hasn’t failed that I get a dry negative assistant that follows . Today my baby had his shots and I know it’s not the happiest time but when the assistant came in she legit came in and didn’t even say hi… she just came and said “put the baby here” .. she started by giving the baby a vaccine by mouth and she didn’t even say when she was doing it nor talk to the baby.. it was so quiet and awkward so I tried to make small talk and asked if the oral medicine had a bad taste or not .. she sarcastically said “I wouldn’t know” … then she just started to poke the baby without any warning nor did she try to comfort the baby by talking to him.. I’m not expecting a whole theatrical fake performance here but I was so shocked how someone so dry and negative can work at this children’s dr office.. it’s a shame.. she def didnt act like she enjoyed her job. Wish I got her name but she had a bun with a braid on the side and was a Hispanic younger female. The last two times prior I also experienced very dry assistants but this time was the last straw and I had to write a review in hopes that the office gets talked to about the assistants negative personalities. I really hope this gets fixed because this place has great potential other than that ."

"Terrible Office Staff. I want to start off by saying that the Doctor is great. But unfortunately, the staff that works for her is absolutely terrible. They are one of the rudest customer service reps that I have dealt with. We spent three years and I always hated going in or calling in. They make the experience so terrible. After going through their reviews, it looks like I am not the only one who believes this. If you fall on hard times, they will for sure make you feel like even worse. Telling us we are "too much of a risk" and refuse to see our children. One time we were up at the front desk and sat there for a few minutes. They were too busy on their phones and when I finally said something to them, they looked at me and said, "Sir. we will be with you in a minute." Why is someone cell phone more important than scheduling our next appointment. We will be taking our business somewhere else. To the doctors: I highly recommend getting employees who know how to treat customers. You work too hard for these bad reviews."
