"I revisited Smothers Barbers the first time in decades. My very first barber cut was in the same chair I sat at age 10 or so while Ed Smothers cut my hair into a flattop. Now 60 years later I had a cut and shave by a nice young Hispanic man. Great cut. Great atmosphere. The legacy lives on in the best barber shop in Upland!"

"Just alright. Not a bad cut in itself, but they didn’t give me what I asked for. I pretty clearly said that I don’t want the sides very short, and I would like it blended. The barber gave me the opposite. It’s also kinda awkward when you explain what you’d like in your cut and you aren’t facing a mirror or anything to visualize that with the barber. Only barber I’ve gone to that I can’t see myself when explaining what I like. I also hate the warm rag massage that they give you. It’s really uncomfortable and they should ask before doing so. The barber also cut me on accident behind my ear when shaving with the razor blade, and drew a bit of blood. I will say, he at least caught it and put some powder to stop the bleeding. This was my second haircut here. My first haircut I had at smothers last month was pretty good, and I was really happy with it. This time, not so much."
