"I have been going to Lucas for YEARS &, lemme tell ya, Lucas’ star quality as a hair stylist lies within the way he caringly & generously prioritizes the health, longevity, & appearance of my hair. Since 2015, Lucas has transformed my hair from it’s natural black to (1) a long, layered & light brown to (2) short & subtle red wine to now (3) a long, layered balayage black to blue. Lucas has done magic with my hair with each new idea we envisioned together. He would ensure he gave me what I wanted while educating me about how to achieve what I wanted in a way that will age well. In the often long hair transformation process, he prioritizes not just my hair but my comfort. Over the process, he can chat with you casually & meaningfully when you’re up for it & leaves you to your devices (phone, computer, book, nap, etc.) depending on how you choose to approach your time with him. (He does sing to the radio while he works & may break into a dance move if he really gets into it, so you can get yourself new hair & a show if you’re lucky!) He also takes the time to discuss with you how to maintain your hair after its transformation & which products he recommends. And he may gift you a product or two as an aftercare starter kit! "Okay so, never had my hair professionally died before. So I don’t have much to compare to, BUT... I mean look at that hair!!! This is the best salon experience I’ve ever had. Lucas is very talented and very well read. He knows his stuff as a chemist as well as a hair specialist. My hair stayed healthy and bouncy despite being bleached. I also has henna in my hair and he was able to achieve the exact color I wanted with no damage to my hair. I was very comfortable throughout the whole experience and came out with my favorite hairstyle I’ve ever had. I highly recommend him. The price might seem high at first thought, but trust me it’s worth it. The after care advice and recommendations alone are enough to let you know he really cares about your hair and isn’t just there to “get a job done”."
