"I love love love love love America's tires! Danny and the team go waaay above and beyond any tire shop to take care of me and my family! When I wanted new rims and tires for my jeep, and I happened to find ones during COVID and almost out of stock, these guys not only found them but gave me a much lower price than ANY of the dozens of Jeep rim websites I had been looking through. Word of advice, everyone knows how awesome these guys are so book an appointment if you can! I took my daughter for 2 new tires, a hole patch, and wheel balancing on the Jeep and we were done and out in 30 minutes! Highly recommend!"

"Last year, a team member at this location bent a dust plate on my convertible. Yesterday during a tire installation, one of the team members damaged my rim and accidentally punctured a hole in my tire. Rather than own the mistake and see the store lose money — the manager offered to replace just one tire. My car is AWD. I can’t mismatch 1 new tire with 3 evenly worn tires, that would cause transfer case and transmission problems. I don’t like seeing rim damage on 21 inch alloy wheels. I spent two hours here managing the situation. 4 tires or nothing else. The store manager would not budge. I refused to take possession of my vehicle until the situation was resolved. I have no interest in small claims court, an insurance claim, or reaching out to my attorney. I’m sure that america’s tire would not want to see a $20,000 bill for a PDK transmission or a $8,000 bill for a Macan Turbo transfer case. I called two other America’s tire stores and spoke with corporate. The two other store managers explained the correct SOP — the store manager was in the wrong here. I left a voicemail for the SoCal regional rep, I spoke with Ty from the corporate team, and the situation was resolved 2 hours and 20 minutes later. Corporate backed up managerial SOP, & this Montclair store ended up replacing all 4 Pirelli P-Zero performance tires on my Porsche. One of the reasons I left the automotive industry is because of the dishonest dealers, frivolous shops, and care free corporations — there are scams at every corner. I value America’s tire. I use them for fleet services because of the honesty and transparency that I see each time I go. It’s ok to make a mistake — I make mistakes every day, occasionally BIG MISTAKES at times. Failing to take care of a situation after you’ve caused someone a two tiered headache, is never okay. It’s the exact opposite of how the America’s Tire experience should be. It’s unfortunate to experience a situation like this when you’ve spent tens of thousands of dollars with a brand and you know EXACTLY how the experience should be. I’ve experienced similar situations to this at two other Discount Tire stores, but the managers owned their mistakes both times. I’m adding a star for Ernest (Montclair shift lead). Ernest was collected, calm, and professional. He is a MVP and would make a great manager here. While I may have no desire to interact with this store ever again, Ernest and the communication from corporate is the reason why I’ll consider staying with Mr. Halle’s brand. I do not like leaving feedback like this — I hope that it informs current or future customers of this store, and corporate. All individuals involved should consider the issues and trainings that need to take place at this location."
