"What a great experience! I had a friend drop off my leather boots I've had for some time for some minor repairs. Within a few hours of them being dropped off, I received a call that they were already finished and ready for pick-up. George explained over the phone what he was and wasn't able to do and why. I was completely content with what was done though (new zipper tab, re-rubbering the wood heels, and new leather insoles). He explained that because of the type of boot, the rest of the sole was not replaceable. I went in the next day to pick them up and was greeted and again, given a bit more detail about the repairs and why only certain parts were replaced. He did above and beyond as far as I'm concerned because the rubber on the heels is now about 3x as thick as what it was when they were brand new. The price was extremely reasonable for the work as well and I intend to return when I have other shoes that need fixing."
