"We had a light dinner of the pumpkin somsa which is a bit like a hand pie. Crust was nice and flaky and the inside was delicious. The dipping sauce was like a thin salsa. We also had the meat dumplings which were pretty yummy but the portion was small for sharing. Then we had the paklava for dessert and it was delicious, not like a baklava that you might know with the flaky fillo dough. The pastry part of it was a little bit more thick. We really like the place and want to come back. The only one blip was that it seemed like the staff were a bit overwhelmed by the peak time and one curious thing was that we ordered the rice dish sofi osh which was only available on Thursday according to the menu but everyone around us had it. They took out order but came back and said they did not have anymore. And subsequently guests who arrived after us were able to order it. So we weren't quite sure what was going on there. Overall we would like to come back place is so nice. It feels like you're taken away to another country."

"First time at Dastarkhan and already can’t wait to come back! Dropped in for lunch, ordered the manti, samsa and lula mix kebabs. Had a combo of beef and pumpkin manti (would recommend doing a split order of both!) Everything was delicious, and the highlight was definitely the lamb/beef kebabs — well seasoned, juicy. Kebab perfection. Service was welcoming, and the atmosphere relaxing."

"Ambiance in the restaurant is nice --beautiful lights and decor. Service is friendly. Two of us shared the following and still had leftovers. Sofi Osh - The meat was super tender. Overall a delicious dish that could have used a bit more seasoning. Kulcha Non - Delicious, warm and fluffy Chicken Samsa - This was the winning dish of the night, and I can't wait to try more samsas. The pastry was incredible."

"When I first visited Dashtarkhan, a Uzbek restaurant, I was immediately struck by the beautiful wall decor, the paintings, and the music. The music was pleasant, featuring Turkish instruments like the kanun and guitar. I was initially a bit skeptical as it was my first time trying their cuisine. However, the food turned out to be fantastic. The chicken and 'samsas' (a type of Uzbek pastry) were delicious in a way I've never experienced anywhere else. The meatballs were also exceptional. The only downside was a bit of a wait at the entrance, as the tables weren't clean yet. We also had to wait a while to place our order after being seated, which suggested they might be short-staffed. I believe with a few more staff members, especially on busy days, their service would be even better. One minor issue was that one of the restrooms wasn't very clean. But overall, I want to give this place 5 stars. The amazing food definitely made up for the small hiccups in service and cleanliness."

"Alhumdulila.. I was searching for somewhere to eat and then I found this place. Food from Uzbekistan, super tasty and authentic. You start the meal with some tea, followed by a soup of your choice. Then it's time for the main event which can be any from their selection of grilled halal meats. I went for the lamb cubes. If you have room, the desserts are a perfect way to finish your visit."
