"I am typically hesitant to leave negative reviews, but feel that others should know— I came to this dentist for a year upon just living to Sunnyvale because the reviews were good. Everything in the office felt old and a little unsanitary (supplies kept in a cupboard/I could see tools laying out, and paper records everywhere). The hygienist said the R word within the first couple minutes. This all would have been fine, the dentist was kind and spent a lot of time with me BUT a year later, I moved to a different area and went to a new dentist who upon inspection found decay so deep that when she picked at it, my tooth literally BROKE IN HALF in the dentist chair. Ended up being a full root canal and crown. I had been to Dr. Doran just 5 months earlier and he had told me my teeth were “beautiful and wonderful” after full panoramic x-rays and examination. There is no excuse for not catching something like this, and the pain/money it caused me later prompts me to warn you to find a different dentist!"

"I have been going to Dr. Doran for decades. He is an outstanding dentist and Margaret (hygienist and also Mrs. Doran) and Nicole are wonderful too. It seems the biggest problem anyone has with him is that he is booked solid. There is a reason for that!"

"After calling them 3 times and not answering well, they claim not accepting new patients. This information could have been mentioned at the first place to the insurances. Bad Communication. You need to be reffered by one of their current patients."

"Dr. Doran is very knowledgeable and gave me ample information for my treatment and why we are doing what we are doing. He and his assistant Nicole are alway very nice and helpful."

"Am new to the neighborhood and my insurance told me he was the only one accepting new patients in my neighborhood. I called the office to inquire if that was the case, the receptionist asked me how i got their information, i told her from the insurance and she told me we accept new patients but you need to know one of our patients. I told her i just moved here and i dont know anyone in this area. but she insisted that i need to learn people here then someone can refer me. what a doctor!!!!! I just need a cleaning and you are asking me to get a referral....."
