"Terrible services, I purchased a few things on 1/04/2024, went back to the store on 1/9/2024 to exchange one item for a different size. " Sorry no returns since the original package is gone, that's our policy." The lady told me. I said:" no, I did not ask for a return, just to exchange it. " she said:" same , no original package on it, no returns or exchanges. " She did not even bother to check the condition of the item, and throw me a piece of paper, " here, this is our return policy". I did not shop at Big 5 Sporting Goods quite often before, with the experience, I am sure I will NEVER shop here again. There are so many stores for Sporting merchandise with competitive price and service, good luck Big 5, hope your business with this kind of service and employees can survive longer enough."
"Such a great place for pocket knives and watches, especially when they go on sale, you can get them for under $20 and they make the perfect gift. We have bought various camping supplies like mats, tents, sleeping bags, stoves, coolers other fun things like boogie boards, floatation devices, pool games/supplies as well as various clothing. We take advantage of the sales on jackets, shoes and other apparel. There have been times we get special personalized service when they aren't too busy an employee will actually shop with us showing us where everything is that we need and offering suggestions. We really enjoy shopping here more than other sporting goods stores."
"Make sure you verify in stock before you go. Specially on sale items. I went to two different stores for a one day sale item (ammo) and neither store had any in stock and they had just opened. I love how they put things on sale that they don't even have in stock. Great sale. I was even sent from one store to the other and they verified plenty in stock (17 boxes) on the computer but when I got there literally in 11 minutes they had none in stock. Not even a single box. Btw not the first time this has happened. But they did offer to check another store (like that helps) which was 30 mins away. No thank you. Third time would not be the charm this time. GYST Big 5."
