"WARNING. Unethical or incompetent. Recommended expensive, unnecessary, invasive treatments. I came in to get x-rays, cleaning, and a consultation. The dentist told me I needed 4 crowns and 3 fillings. Total cost would be over 4k. This was suspicious to me because my previous dental visit at another office was 6 months ago, and I had no issues then. I went to get a second opinion at another office. We did the x-rays all over again, and the conclusion was that my gums and teeth are quite healthy and has no issues except for staining from tea and coffee. The second dentist told me that some dental offices are shady. I'm glad my instincts told me to run and get a second opinion. Otherwise I would have had 4 teeth unnecessarily drilled down and replaced with a crown. And for what, just a couple extra thousand dollars in their pocket?"

"This is a terrible unreasonable dental office with rude male front desk representatives, which is beside me. I feel the front desk rep. should have enough decency to be respectful to the patient, but this location doesn't practice these practices at all. Being kind, Being polite, avoid interrupting or causing disturbances, listing to others and respecting differences in beliefs and opinions, being willing to evolve and admit mistakes. Bancroft Dental knows nothing about these good old wholesome practices and they will be held accountable for their wrong doings. If I were you I would find a dental office that will give you respect and treat you with dignity. I'm so much happier with my new Dental office. It's really refreshing to do business with good people. Thank you for reading and understanding the hardships I've faced dealing with Bancroft dental."

"I used to really enjoy the dental care services at Bancroft Dental Care. But in the last year, their administrative support has been really lacking. My most recent experience with their administration has been terrible. They had a provider listed as in-network coverage, so I booked my cleaning with them, provided my insurance, only to receive a bill as an out-of-network provider. They said they would resolve this, and would be in contact in a few days when they resolved. They just called me 6 months later to finish resolving so they could get paid with no apology or indication that their office made an error. There are better run dentists in the San Leandro area. I recommend going to one of them instead."

He was very knowledgeable, personable and provided me solutions for my dental situation.
