"Dr. Rideau did a good job. He explained the procedure. He showed me on the x-rays why we were doing the procedure. Everything went smoothly, got home. Not a lot of pain. He phone me later asking how things where going. And it was a successful morning and afternoon. My whole family have been a patients, with Dr. Rideau for many year's."

"I am the new patient started on Aug. The dentist is really nice, professional and knowledgeable. However, The lady at the front desk is extremely irresponsible and handles issues in a negative manner. First, this is the first dental clinic I've encountered that charges before insurance, and secondly, the fees they charge are definitely higher than what the insurance indicates. I recommend everyone to always wait until the insurance bill comes out before making payments, as you will never get your refund. When I had my teeth cleaned and fillings done for the first time, I paid according to their initial cost estimate. However, after receiving the bill from my insurance company, I realized that I had overpaid by nearly two hundred dollars. When I contacted the front desk, they instructed me to email them the insurance company's bill and verify my bill with the insurance company. They promised a response within two weeks. I followed their instructions, but for the following month, I received no emails or phone calls in response. So, I contacted them again, and they mentioned that they needed to confirm with the insurance company once more. I realized that my case had not been taking care. After lodging a complaint, they agreed to refund me, but the manager in charge of approving refunds was never in the office when I came /called to office. Finally, on November 3rd, I met with this manager. She first verified the refund amount and processed it to my card. However, within half an hour of returning home, I noticed that she had processed the refund as an expense. So, I went back to the office, and she canceled the expense and reissued the refund to me. After confirming that I received the refund, I went back home, only to find that the refund had been canceled. I confirmed with HSA customer service that both my expense and refund for that day had been canceled, and I felt like I was being played. This refund took two months to be processed, and I wasn't in a hurry to use this refund. However, their attitude, lack of feedback, and unprofessional handling of the situation have been very disappointing. The lady insisted that I email her the evidence of the refund being canceled, and I complied, but, of course, there was no response. Then, perhaps another two months of waiting? Maybe they're hoping I'll gradually forget about this matter. Again, I recommend everyone to always wait until the insurance bill comes out before making payments, as you may spend a lot of time and energy with them to get your refund or never. My previous dental clinics always sending bill after insurance bill comes out."

"I went there for a filling and the whole office was very clean and the service was on point. Check in was smooth, I would suggest they send the forms in email so patients can fill that info online. My dentist was very knowledgeable and educated with me what was the issue and how he will treat it. The team also doesn’t force you to do all X-rays etc, they only took the X-ray of the area where I had the cavity. Overall the entire experience was great and they focus to ensure you have no pain or anxiety during the visit. I hhhky recommend them"

"I understand dentist always try to upsell a service. The ladies at the front desk provided a quote for deep cleaning ~$300, so I agreed to it. When I was on the chair, the dentist convinced to do my full mouth - upper and lower since I was 8 months pregnant. Before agreeing they did not let me know the quote would double and the quote was only for half of my mouth. I was under the impression the ~$300 was for my entire mouth. This was probably the worst dental experience I’ve had. I’m usually always patient with procedures and do well. They numbed my entire mouth and because of this I felt like I could not breath for the entire hour+. I had to stop them at least every 15mins because I thought my mouth is closing up. This severe reaction may be because I was pregnant and my body reacted. The entire time, I was thinking about going to the ER. Knowing I was pregnant, they could have taken further steps to ensure this would be okay for an 8 month pregnant woman. After my horrific experience and after everything was complete, they then charged me $700+ 2x the amount. I was shocked and said no, I was only quoted for $300. That’s when they said “oh that was for only half the mouth”. I complained and they agreed to refund 20% of the service. It’s been three months now and I have not received a refund. My dental procedure wasn’t even the worst part. It’s the communication of the entire staff. I cannot count the number of times I’ve emailed and called in to follow up on my refund. They either say the manager is out, or the manager will reply to my email. I finally spoke with the manager and said they would email me a follow up immediately but I still have not received even a follow up explanation nor a refund. It seems they are purposely avoiding me or ignoring my calls hoping I would forget. I never write reviews, but I’ve had the absolute most horrible experience with park place dental and am very fed up with the non-communication. I wanted to try out a new dentist because it is across the street from my employer, but I will be sure to let my colleagues know to not come to this dentist. UPDATE: After my review was posted, I called back for the billionth time and they finally sent over my refund. Maybe I needed to write a public review to get movement on my refund. I appreciate getting some money back, but for my own sanity, I am looking for a new provider."

"I could not believe how the receptionist here treated me into service and almost scammed me for 3000 dollars. I had chipped tooth last week and wanted to do a quick fix, so I chose Park Pl Dental since it's close my home. However, after fixing my tooth, which should only took me 300 hundred dollars, the receptionist goes like "Now we have extra time, would you like a deep cleaning?". I asked for the price and they showed me a bill for 900 dollars, which I "reckon" as the chipped tooth and the deep cleaning. 600 dollars for deep cleaning is acceptable. However, after it finished they showed me extra 300 dollars, and charged me 1300 in total. And after that they told me I have to come back for cleaning for another half of my teeth. Today they try to charge me $1600 for another half of cleaning, which is outrageous since I didn't even want it in the first place; the cleaning of the first half already caused me three days of pain and migraine, and I bleed in my mouth the whole day. I really can't believe they could do this to their patients! I'm a PhD student and my monthly stipend is only $2300, and they try to charge me for $3000 for a tooth cleaning, even after I told them I have school insurance and will go back to school next month. I truly think the receptionist is very irresponsible and profit driven without a limit."
