"Friends’ apartment has flooded four times this year with inadequate maintenance response. One of them cannot secure a new apartment due to View of the Cumberlands “not having her rental history on file” despite them living their for over a year. I would encourage tenants to consult BBB or Legal Aid Society of Mid TN to hold irresponsible building owners accountable."
"Overall a nice apartment. Quiet place to live but close to everything you need! Our AC has gone out 3 times this year alone. Main office rarely answers service requests, but the maintenance team (if you can get them on the #) is amazing. They are so nice, and will keep you looped in on what they are doing to fix the issue. Heat/air is not included in rent, so management doesn’t seem to move very quickly when you file requests since they’re not paying for it. Several weeks this year our apartment has been well over 80 inside, which is considered unlivable under TN landlord law, but we still paid our full rent each month. Water pressure has been terrible this summer, as well but that is probably a metro issue."
"Negligent management is at the top of the list of problems this place has. When you have a problem all they do is try to talk their way out of it. We are at 3 days with no air with record breaking heat this year. All they've done is make excuses. We have different employees relaying different information to us. They should be completely embarrassed and ashamed with how they've "handled" this. This isn't even the first time this complex/managment team has completely failed to solve a problem for us but I think this review is long enough. Just be warned. These apartments may have lower rates than the surrounding ones but you get what you pay for apparently. Avoid at all cost. Pay more to live somewhere else. You're welcome."
