"When I first came here I had a haircut with Sarah and she’s the sweetest! I showed her what I wanted and she did exactly, what I envisioned! The second time I came in because I wanted to dye my hair from black to strawberry blonde/brown. They were able to accommodate when I wanted to do it, informed me on the whole process and I was able to do the consultation and the all over color application within a few days. I had damaged hair and had old self done box dye before I came in but Sunyi was able to fix it and help treat it to become healthy again! The whole staff was so sweet and so helpful in my process and I’m very thankful. I always get so many compliments on my hair now and I have recommended this place to all my friends and family !"

"I went to get my hair colo corretect today after a bad bleach, all 3 of the ladies were an absolute joy to work with. They explained everything they were doing & i felt pampered by them. I was there for 4 hours and it didnt feel like it because we had great conversations. "About a month ago was my second time getting a hair appointment with Sunyi. Although she was a delight to work with during my first visit with her (which is why I went back to her in the first place), for some odd reason, she had a terrible attitude during my second appointment with her. Sunyi constantly used foul language all throughout my appointment with her. Now, a little bit of foul language here and there is not a big deal - it's the tone in which you say the words that can rub someone the wrong way. And Sunyi's tone that day expressed a whole lot of angst against me, for no apparent reason. Customers come to a salon and pick out a specific stylist because they like the experience you're able to provide them. I could've easily opted to pay $45 to have the other stylist cut my hair, but since I already knew and liked Sunyi, I opted to go with her and pay $60 instead. I didn't come to the salon to experience your absolutely poor attitude that day, Sunyi. Maybe you just had a very bad day that day, but it definitely didn't seem like you were having a bad day when you paused our 2nd appointment for an entire 5+ minutes, happily and excitedly chatting away with other clients who were coming in to buy your mom's kimchi. Even if you were having a bad day, it does not excuse your behavior. Additionally, when I asked Sunyi for recommendations on hair styling products, she proceeded to say, in the most unprofessional, nasty-attitude way, "For WHAT???..." Yes, my hair is above shoulder length, but so long as I'm not bald and have a head full of hair, any normal person would want to style their hair sometimes, regardless of how short/long it is. I responded to Sunyi that the last time I saw her, she made my hair look really voluminous and I just wanted to know how to recreate that look on my own, since my hair is usually flat. She looked absolutely annoyed and disgusted with me, just because I asked her for styling product recommendations. She responded that I just needed to blow dry my hair upside down. Fair enough, I thought -- use a hair blowdryer - I can do that. Because Sunyi completely humiliated me for my simple inquiry, I then didn't feel like talking to her much after that. As she continued working on my hair, she would periodically force herself to add in some small talk, to which I no longer felt open to but participated in anyway. After she was done with my haircut, Sunyi then added a bit of product to my hair. Because the product had a nice aroma to it, I was just curious and asked her what product she was using. She responded, with the same terrible attitude and annoyed look on her face, "It's just hair lotion..." I then said, "Yes, but is there a particular brand you're using? How much is it? I'd just like to know because it smells really nice." Disgusted, she again responded, "It's just Japanese hair lotion." Well, excuse the daylight out of me, Sunyi! I'm so sorry that I had the audacity to ask you what kind of products you were using in MY hair that day! I've gone to my fair share of salons in the past - good and bad ones - but not once have I ever had a stylist who was as unforthcoming about the products they used in my hair as Sunyi was. If anything, every single stylist I've ever had has always been more than happy to share with me exactly what product they were using. The fact that Sunyi was not willing to so much as share the product name with me was ridiculous. You want to put things in my hair? Tell me exactly what it is. I have the right to know. Period. Sunyi, I don't know what caused you to behave so unprofessionally and terribly towards me that day. All I know is that you were great to me when I first met you, and I was very excited to see you again during our second appointment. I left the salon confused and feeling very badly about what in the world just happened between us. You lost yourself a client, but I'm sure the truth is you really could care less, seeing how you behaved towards me last time. It's a shame to see a good stylist have such a terrible attitude."
