"I made a mistake to bring my night guard to this dental office as a new patient for cleaning. When I put the night guard on my teeth it smelled very strong of bleach or some strong cleaning agent. Also, the night guard had become looser fitting. I had to buy a new night guard not at this office. It would have been nice if the office disclaimed that the night guard cleaning process could possibly weaken/damage a nightguard and that there would be a strong odor. I also felt upon my check up that the hygienist was trying to upsell an unneeded deep cleaning, claiming I had gum pockets. Ironically, the dentist had nothing bad to say about my teeth and gums. The reason I say indirectly tried to sell me deep cleaning is that I received an email a couple days later suggesting a deep cleaning. Strangely, during my exam no suggestion/recommendation was made."
