"For a gel pedicure and gel soak off I spent $80. The customer service is non existent. The technicians are not nice they did not even help me to my chair. Maybe it was just my tech but blonde girl horrible customer service not worth an $80 pedicure. I also told them I wanted an eyebrow wax but no one ever said anything and they just pretended I didn’t ask for service so I didn’t even get that service. Will be taking my money somewhere else there is a lot more economic salons with BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE."

"I have been a long term customer. This is a very expensive salon, so I expect a respectful behavior and happy time. Today I was got a very disrespectful behavior because they are about to get busy ."

"TL;DR: - The most unprofessional customer service from the front desk lady, Kate. She raised her voice at me in front of all the customers/employees when she was in the wrong because she couldn't find the gift card balance. - Speaking of said gift card, they refused to honor the gift card (which was purchased from their location in 2021, 2 years ago) because it was "SO old" that they don't have any records of it. Kate told me the balance of $55 is $0 and couldn't find any records. It seems like the business doesn't maintain records of gift cards that they sold beyond 2 years and will not honor them. - My advice would be DO NOT buy any gift cards from here. It'll be very embarrassing for the recipient when he or she tries to redeem it and Kate embarrasses her by raising her voice and letting the recipient know that they do have any record of it so there's no balance left on it. - Everyone is quite pushy and trying to upsell. First, when I arrived Kate insisted on upgrading to a gel mani+pedi, even though I called in to schedule an appt for a classic mani+pedi. Then the pedicure technician also insisted I do gel, I declined, she pushed again for gel, I had to decline a second time. Only the manicure technician was great, no problems. Gift Card / Front Desk Service: Now this is the part that was shocking for me. I tried to use a gift card that my friend got me from this location. Kate took the gift card then told me "Honey, this gift card is SO, so old. There's no money left on it!" I asked if she could check again because I get that it's 2 years old, but there should still be some money on it... gift cards can't expire. (Even if you charge a fee for not using it, there's no way $55 has become $0 in 2 years...) She sighed loudly, rolled her eyes, went to her desk to try to find the transaction records. This time she returned telling me that it must have been bought from another location. My friend confirmed that it was bought at this Brea location and I let Kate know as well. After waiting 45 minutes for her to look into the gift card value and realizing she couldn't figure out when the gift card was purchased/activated/how to check the remaining balance, I told her to just charge me for the services on my credit card and asked her to provide me with her manager's name and contact so that I can show them the credit card transaction that shows when it was purchased and that it was purchased from this BREA location and then I can get a refund on my credit card transaction. I guess she was offended that I asked for the manager's contact, she then had the audacity to raise her voice at me in front of other customers and employees: "HONEY! Oh my gosh! This gift card is SO old, there's no money! There's no record! I'm not trying to steal $50 from you!" She refused to give me a manager's name or contact and I was so appalled by her behavior and customer service - she literally yelled this at me in the establishment with people inside - I had her charge my credit card and left because I realized her attitude will just escalate and she's clearly not trying to look out for a solution in a calm manner. Had she just taken a different approach of "Hey, I can't seem to find the transaction at the moment. Can I charge you today for the service but when you find the credit card statement we'll be sure to refund you?" or if she just acknowledged that their business doesn't keep records of gift cards beyond a year or two, I would have been annoyed, but not even left this review. The way that Kate was being so rude and humiliating me was just shocking. My friend gave me her credit card statement that shows the purchase location is Brea indeed."

"Today was the second time I’ve been to this store and the second time that I’ve been not 100% satisfied. Everyone was nice enough but I am not totally happy with their technique on dip nails. My nails are “fine” but I am very picky and ended up with many bubbles, that will dirty easily, and spots where the drill was just a little too hard. From afar, you can’t tell there is anything wrong with them, per-say, but living with them and noticing the mistakes is different. Just seems a little rushed and too carefree for me."

"Please don’t come here if you care about your health and sanitation, as well as how your nails look. I showed my manicurist the French that I wanted and she rubbed snot from her nostril (she wasn’t wearing a mask) and then grabbed my phone with the same fingers without even asking me if she could touch my phone and took it and handed my phone to another person. They used tools from containers labeled “soiled tools” and then cut me with them and I have an extremely painful infection now. They DO NOT DISINFECT/SANITIZE TOOLS IN BETWEEN CLIENTS. They will run back and forth to different clients without changing gloves, no hand washing, no sanitizing trying to get the jobs done faster at the expense of your health and safety to try and make more money. They will drop towels and tools on the floor and pick them back up and still use them. It’s foul. Not only that they can’t do simple shaping but will charge you extra $5 for anything besides square and round. So the shapes everyone likes (coffin, almond, stiletto) all cost extra and you won’t even get that shape. Length, $5 extra. BUT my nails weren’t even close to medium length, still charged me extra. It’s disgusting and embarrassing what this nail salon will do to make money quickly. Stop overbooking and take the time to sanitize, learn how to do simple nail techniques. Not only can they not perform simple styles they charge insane prices for such low quality work. $133 for a full set of French acrylics and a gel pedi with a removal of previous gel. The blood exposure incidents with zero care is what really gets me. For anyone that’s read all of this please understand how dangerous this is for your health!! Save yourself the time, stress, money and pain that I’m in right now and go somewhere sanitary and be aware of your surroundings in the nail salon."
