"I’m on the hunt for a nail place because I recently moved and my go-to place is too far. I called this place to make an appointment and the lady that answered asked if I could go “right now.” I told her I was working and that’s why I needed an appointment. The day came for my gel manicure and pedicure. I was getting prepped when another customer came in. I overheard that her acrylic nail fell off one or two days after getting her nails done. A worker told her that she probably hit her nail somewhere. The customer said no, because the nail just popped off without hurting. They went back and forth. Anyway, the person working on my manicure was okay. I try not to watch them because I hate being the picky customer. I should’ve paid close attention because she wasn’t cleaning the edges so I had excess clear polish on my skin at the end. I asked if she could remove it and she said it’d come off when I washed my hands. I said okay. She changed her mind and tried to peel off the excess to show me how easily it’d come off. Well she was wrong and struggled to remove the excess lol. The gel manicure started peeling 3 days later and was getting caught in my hair. I decided not to go back."
