Lola Nails Bar

"Time and time again, I make calls to inquire about the availability of a specific nail technician at the salon. The woman who manages the shop repeatedly suggests that I come in and go to anyone. While there are two individuals there who excel at doing my nails just the way I like them, her insistence on getting me off the phone quickly has led me to heed her advice and go in, accepting whoever available. On several occasions, I’ve expressed my dissatisfaction with the service, all the while knowing that I understand Vietnamese, a fact unbeknownst to her. Unpleasantly, she has consistently engaged in derogatory discussions about me. I generally avoid confrontations, as I’m aware of my potential to create a scene. So, I exercise self-control. It’s one thing for her to engage in unpleasant conversations, buts it’s another when she outright called me “dumb”. Still rather than addressing the issue in front of other customers, I decided to call and confront her. To my surprise, a man answered the call and curtly informed me that they were closed, then hung up the phone. It’s disheartening that voicing dissatisfaction with your nail service results in derogatory comments. I invest a significant amount of money to have my nails done, and I expect them to be done to my satisfaction."

"I had a great experience with Annie last year, but this year Ken did not give me a good experience. He cut me and made me bleed 5 times and it was so painful with him! His filing is also SO painful. He left my nails crooked and so thick. The skin around my nails was so dry and left awful! He does not understand much of what the customer is asking and gets frustrated and complains. Unprofessional!"

"I'm very disappointed in Lola Nail spa, it's a cute place and they take walk ins without a long wait. However i got the nail dip the guy tech recommended would last 3 weeks, paid $50 including tip and the very next day two of the nails just came off (didn't even get chance to do chores). Went back and they replaced missing nails. Went back 3rd time two days later for another nail. Now it's been a week into manicure and I'm again missing another nail, and another chipped off. I should have asked for a refund instead now im over it. They need to train staff how to do it properly, by the mixed reviews some staff are ok others not."
