"As a long time local resident & past client, we brought our adult daughter into Skuben Dentistry (as a new patient) for an initial teeth cleaning & checkup. Note, our adult daughter has a mild intellectual disability (24 years old) and requires Special Education services. She wasn't borne with this condition but unfortunately was diagnosed with cancer at an early age and under went cranial radiation to help save her life. Fortunately she's been in remission for eight years after a second relapse and she's physically fine. Her appointment at Skuben Dentistry went ahead and it was determined she has cavities to fill. I waited for a follow up call to schedule (never happened) and proceeded to call and make her next appointment. This is where I was informed that due to her not being an ideal (normal) dental patient they were not going to proceed with seeing her again My conversation / response from Corky (Office Manager) didn't offer any options (like Nitrous Oxide Gas) to help alleviate fears or a possible referral to another specific Dentist ... Just we don't want to deal with you and goodbye! Her Mother and I are pretty disgusted and disappointed from a lack of empathy!"

"My dentist of over 10 years retired last year and a dental group took over his office and I was not happy with them, so my hunt for a new dentist began. I went to a new dentist last year and didn't like that office either because of the constant upsell of procedures. I had seen someone recommend this office in a Facebook group for my city and thought I would give them a try. This morning I had my first visit and I immediately fell in love with this office. It is so close to where I live, there is plenty of parking, the office is clean, there's plenty of seating in the lobby, and everyone was so friendly! I got to meet Dr Skuben and she was so nice! My appt was with Dr Huang and he did my exam AND cleaning and he was amazing! He was so nice and friendly, but most of all he was gentle and it didn't hurt! I think I've found my new forever dentist!"
