"Trying to get the care you need is difficult. FCC makes it 10x harder. I am out of meds because their system doesn’t work. But since it’s a state funded facility what did you expect. I do not look forward to them being the only source for medication in the area. Now that I will have to go without meds we will see how that works out. I do not recommend at all"

"A large organization -- but FCC Behavioral Health(FCCBH) has a number of service levels and variations of service available for clients. Addiction treatment if needed, counseling, medication, case management, and that's only a few. It's worked out depending on one's level of need. So don't think of it as typical mental health treatment, it could be a number of different things and they will work with you to identify those needs and create a plan help you move in a forward direction. One service that has worked stunningly well for me is the Peer Support services. A Peer Support specialist is someone who is not only an employee of the mental health system -- but is a client of the services as well. One Peer Support specialist at FCCBH polished my resume and gave me a list of job contacts, along with lots of encouragement. I was able to obtain excellent employment with a market leading company because of this person's efforts and being there for me. I used the resume they polished, and the job I obtained was the first on their list of contacts! I wish I could shout out who this person is -- but as a Peer Support specialist, again, they've been on the path a client has -- so it would not only violate their privacy -- but it's their story to tell. But I will be forever grateful to this person, for at the time my situation was challenging to say the least...and hopeless, I thought. The Peer Support specialists saw me through and I'm at the beginning of a happier future because of it. I've got work ahead of me yet, with my mindset, the way I think about things...and the challenges of learning a new job. Having someone believing in you and rooting for you really helps, and I am truly, profoundly grateful. One person really can make a life-changing difference."

"I have worked for FCC over a year now. They have grown leaps and bounds, have implemented training for their employees and are expanding every day. This organization and our employees express true compassion and I am grateful to work for them. If you previously had a bad experience, I encourage you to give FCC another try!"
