"I can not say enough good things about AETC. My son had been on the waitlist for what seemed like most of 2019. Towards the end of the year, we got the call that we were being offered a slot. I was beyond nervous and scared and excited, so many emotions!! At first it was hard because my son had never been anywhere without me. I was always worried about how others would treat him because of his ASD and behaviors. It was a long process of letting the walls that I had built up, down in order for him to grow in this program. But, I took it one day at a time and we are about 7 weeks in and I am seeing so many behavior improvements, speech is growing every single day, he is now sharing, waiting his turn, able to communicate clearer, and managing his emotions better. That’s just 7 weeks! I can’t wait to see where this road will take us. I just know we are on the right path with the right people. The therapist and teachers are as good as it gets! I know there is a long waitlist, but hold on!! It will get to you and you will see what you’ve been waiting for all along. ♥️"

"In reference to the previous comment. I can say they have large waiting lists. My son has been on a waiting list since October 2018. (In Jan I checked in on the process and at that time there was over 40 children ahead of mine) They did just open this new buliding a few months ago and they have had to hire new employees and get them trained. I'm sure the list has continued to grow since then. He is getting ready to start here in the coming weeks and we are a Tricare insurance holder so it doesn't seem I've got any special treatmeant or been able to start sooner because of that. Yes the waiting has been a pain and a bit frustrating and have often thought maybe I was getting the run around. But after meeting everyone and going there a couple times for different appointments. I can't wait for my son to start. Everyone seems wonderful. I will provide I update once my son is in the program for a bit."

"I have worked with them in the past when they first came to clarksville under another name. Back then before they had a lot of clients they accepted tenncare. Services are beyond excellent with this program; however, as soon as they got more clients my tenncare son didn't matter anymore. Some kind of way I was dropped entirely from their program when tricare parents started rolling in. They made every excuse under the sun to just get rid of my son, and not accept him back into the program. Fast forward under a different name, I reapply for the program. Of course they can't deny me upfront, but now they just got finish telling me their is a waiting list of 100 children in front of mine. Lol, I bet there is. I wonder how long the wait is for tri care parents. Insurance discrimination at its best. If you got tri care you are blessed. If you got tenncare, welp go to the bottom of the barrel with the rest of em. Smh"
