"I was looking forward to having my medically needed breast reduction here. I didn’t get past the first phone call. I was told I was too overweight. I would have to lose weight before she would even consider the surgery. Doesn’t make sense to me. I am at a stable weight. She wanted me at an unstable one. VERY disappointed."

I was dealing with an insurance issue and they were there to help me every step of the way to expedite my process. The office is also very clean and tastefully decorated. "Wonderful and caring staff! Everyone at the Elizabeth Institute and Glow are friendly and helpful. Their recent breast cancer event was fantastic and I would recommend anyone who has breast cancer or a survivor to attend the annual event... I even reconnected with someone from high school there. I will admit that I was nervous to go to this event by myself but the entire office made me feel welcome and appreciated! Dr. Herron is fantastic! She listens and shows she cares to every person who walk through the doors."

"The office itself was quite nice and I can appreciate a classy place. That said, both visits to this place left me feeling quite disturbed. Initially I requested they confirm without question that my insurance would cover this, they said okay. From day one they all made it clear I should be honored to be in their presence.. at least that's the attitude I felt. First visit was a consultation, it appeared they were more concerned with billable than the patient. The doctor and her medical assist said I would require two separate skin treatments and labs.. this was in my appointment notes and confirmed with two separate people. I was told to plan on the cost being $500.00 (which was fine) "for both procedures" and the rest my insurance would cover. Upon further discussion with my primary care physician and dermatologist I decided I only needed one treatment and NO labs. I confirmed this with staff twice and was told the price would be cheaper. Day of surgery, they said it would be at minimum $500.00 and they may decide to bill me more at a later date. They confessed they had not confirmed with my insurance and when I requested a potential cost with and or without insurance" they were extremely evasive and spent 10 minutes telling me why they don''t have hourly rates or costs of goods sold. They said they always thought I was getting one procedure which unfortunately was absolutely false. Honestly, I don't care about the money keep the extra $250. I however do care about the character and principals of a business (owning two myself) and never once got the feeling this place had either. Seriously.. the money wasn't the problem. On the flip side, the doctor was professional and efficient and the place was immaculate. If I had to chose though, I'd chose a place less focussed on getting what they can and more concerned with the patient. I cannot recommend this place which is a bummer since there aren't many places in the valley. Hope you have a better experience than I did. Sorry for such a long review but I am actually saddened over this whole experience."
