Weiss Liquors 824 Main Street, Nashville, TN 37206

"I lived in this neighborhood from 2002-2017. Weiss was my go to liquor store all those years. Within walking distance of Historic Edgefield where Mr Weiss, the owner, once owned a home. He was very active in the neighborhood, super nice, and a master business man out of Georgia Tech. Catering to the high and low end buyers. He used to have a few bottles of Cristal Champagne, on the top shelf behind the register, claiming Titan's players would come in to purchase. Frugal had trouble competing with his prices they were so low. I bought all the wine for my wedding here because the prices were the best I could find. The wine selection was outstanding and affordable. Back then they ran 4 registers on a busy night and the place was beaming with excitement. They had knowledgeable staff to help with the wines they carried. Those days are over. From what I understand Mr Weiss has retired and the business is being run by someone else. Everything was overpriced and the inventory is noticeably low. I was the only customer in the store. Parking lot mostly empty. Considering how much the neighborhood has grown, it makes me sad to see this business declining. I feel like someone missed a real opportunity to keep this East Nashville treasure alive."

"I went to Weiss Liquor Store because of WKRN story this past Saturday. The story showed how Weiss Liquor rebuilt their Marquee. It looks great. However, I was a little confused when I saw the damage from Main Street coming away from town. I was told that will be repaired soon Now, Collin, the young easy on the eyes, cashier, was very helpful in trying to locate a Vino I was inside in purchasing from Weiss as I was comparing prices from a previous Liquor Store. Collin even researched this brand of vino in their stock. Weiss Liquor Store is must visit for the upcoming Holidays. When you go tell them Sweet Chocolate sent you; and ask fir Collin, ladies. You will see what I mean by easy on the eyes. Seems to be a nice gentleman as well."
