"This place is amazing! Their sandwiches, deli counter, canolis, & even specialty sodas are delicious. We've ordered a different variety of items every time we go & we're always pleased. Staff are always friendly & helpful. My favorite is the Italian sub, original canoli, & stuffed peppers. Just go! Order anything & you'll be happy. Awesome awesome place!"
"I have driven by this place so many times and did not realize it was there. I finally noticed it and wanted to try it. I got a spicy Italian sausage sandwich with onions and peppers. It was absolutely delicious. It was probably the best Italian sausage sandwiches I have ever had. I also ordered Ruben sandwiches and the people I got them for said they were good as well. I wanted to try a cold sandwich so I got the Italian cold cut. I wasn't very impressed by that one. It was very bland. The potato salad was good as well as one of the pasta salads I got. I don't remember which one it was because they had 2. It was the less spicy one. I will definitely be coming back for the sausage sandwich."
"An authentic taste of Italy and a beautiful tribute to family heritage and small business. This family run market & deli is worth the drive if your near Long Beach. Bob, the owner, is not just around, he’s hands on. He makes sure the quality and size of these sandwiches are held to the family standard. There is a wonderful selection of deli meats, cheeses, and WINE!! We ordered a Large Grilled Veggie sub… it was amazing. Fresh everything and topped with fresh basil. A delightful culinary experience. My uncle (who lives near the deli) says it’s the “best damn corned beef” he ever ate. I appreciated Bob’s hands on approach and willingness to engage his customers and share the history and origin story."
"Stopped at Foggia on the way home. The staff was so friendly and gave me a sample of their soup of the day. It was a cream of roasted bell pepper, and it was quite possibly the best soup I've ever had. Got the spicy Italian sub for my order. DELICIOUS. Highly recommend. I'll definitely be back."
