"Finally after 10 years I’m ready to speak out on my experience here. I was a resident in November of 2014. This facility is a disgrace. The education level is sub par, when I was reintegrated into actual schooling I was still considered on a freshman level (I was almost 16) because all of the credits I had received were considered on a “special education” level. I was assaulted by another peer, and when staff finally showed up to help, I WAS THE ONE WITH A BLACK EYE , and the staff member restrained me rather than handling the situation. The interaction was over my food, and I had explained that to staff. When my parents were told about the incident (after they had picked me up with a busted face to go on a home pass) the staff lied to them and told them the fight was started because I had made RACIAL SLURS, rather than telling them the truth about the other individual punching me in my eye because I refused to give her a sandwich. On one occasion, I had passed out on property after going to eat with my parents, because I had barely eaten in days and was losing substantial amounts of weight. I’m a type 2 diabetic, and instead of doing the reasonable thing and checking my blood sugar they just gave me a ridiculous amount of candy and sent me on my way (I passed out from HIGH blood sugar). I was being fed ungodly amounts of seroquel and god knows what else for the age I was at the time, and am now suffering from IRREVERSIBLE mental and physical damage. Lastly, can we please talk about how one of the girls I roomed with was bitten by a RAT, and staff gave her some Tylenol from it instead of proper medical care? Please keep your children away from this place. It’s an abuse facility. Anyone who sends their child here knowing the things about this place that many people know, should not have children. The state should not be sending foster children here."

"This place needs to be immediately closed down and whoever had anything to do with the deaths of Summer Lambert and Raiden Moonin get charged accordingly. you shouldn’t be giving medication if you don’t know how and two kids are dead because of it, and anyone who knowingly stood by is just as responsible."
