"COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL. Went to get my car smogged and it has an aftermarket K&N air intake that is CA smog LEGAL and clearly has a CARB number required by the state of California. He failed me on the visual because of it and said it wasn't a stock part so it won't pass and then charged me $40. When I told him it was CA legal because of the CARB number he proceeded to tell me that I don't know anything and he knows better because he has been doing this for a long time. Obviously he only wanted some quick cash for doing nothing which was completely illegal on his part. But hey that's probably how he got into this country anyway. I will be involving BAR in the matter and hopefully they will shut down this shady operation so he can go back to his weekend job at the swap meet. If you want to be ripped off and scammed by somebody Edgar is your guy. To be honest he seemed really nice until your signature is on the bottom of that paper. Don't let this low life fool you! You taunted me to write this review Edgar, well guess what buddy here it is!"

"DO not do business with these people. My mom needed to get her car smogged so the owner of the shop told my mom he will have it ready for pick up within a couple of hours, she dropped her car off on Saturday around 12pm (they close at 1pm on Saturdays). He insisted she leave her car that he'd have the car ready the same day. Of course he did not. Come Monday the car was still not worked on. Rather it was sitting in front of this shop as the employees sat around doing nothing. He stated he would not work on the car until he had the money upfront. (If so then why did he tell my mom it was ok to leave the car there for almost 2 days!) And that's not the worst part. They STOLE my moms disk plate from her car, luckily my sister is smart enough to notice, and she confronted him about it. He thought he could get away with it. He claims he removed the disk plate so nobody would've stolen it. (The car was locked inside his smog shop that was locked as well). Can u believe this man?! And there are other things I know about this man and how he does business but id rather not say because he can loose his LICENSE. Please don't do business with this man, and ESPECIALLY DONT LEAVE YOUR CAR IN HIS SHOP."

"At first they appeared friendly. Mine is an out of state vehicle (NJ). I have an aftermarket intake with no carb numbers. The owner said he needed carb numbers for the intake. I spent $300 on an intake. Got the smog checked and guess what, the emissions passed. Now he want the carb numbers for the header! He said this after he ran the smog test and emissions came out fine, though one of the readings was close to the maximum. They have to do the visual inspection first. He was looking for header carb numbers after everything passed! So I ended up paying $37 with a failed certificate. I go to this other professional place where the intake was replaced. They are $10 more but a real shop! They ran the test, warned that it passed but NO is way more than average. Certificate issued - pass! All I wanted was smog cert for CA plates and NJ expired. I will get the O2 sensor replaced to get the emissions down, I live California. Moral of the story - ignore these guys. All he wanted was money without doing his job right. And oh, the time it takes for the test is ridiculous. One guy is so new that he don't know what carbon numbers mean! Owner does but is rude. I am going to dispute this transaction anyway.
