"Nice clean rooms with a nice breakfast. This hotel has really improved over a year ago. Great staff that was very welcoming."

"First Hilton brand hotel I’ve stayed in as a Diamond member that gave the tiny water bottles out. Also, their Peloton bike was broke. You could not adjust the height plus there were no toe cages either. Pool was closed for winter so not heated unfortunately. Requested house keeping and nobody ever came. Refrigerator won’t stay closed either so I had to move a stool in front of it."

"Stayed here for a few nights for a work trip. The hotel smells so nice as soon as you walk in. The lobby area is really clean and nice. The staff were super friendly. The room was clean, but it didn’t have a microwave. I thought they had one in the lobby but it was only sitting out on a table during breakfast hours. (Breakfast was good, especially the potatoes.) Pretty cheap to not have a microwave in the rooms though. I couldn’t even heat up a drink. There was a fridge at least. I lovvvve the bedding and the pillows, but the bed itself was hard. The shower floor was weirdly curved and made it hard to stand in. The water also wasn’t very hot so that was a bummer after working for 13 hours. Definitely not the worst though."

"Upon arrival, the front desk clerk was very awesome! Even the lady I spoke with when I was leaving the next morning. However, I received a receipt saying that I was charged a $0.00 balance due to my hotel room, not being up to par. Meaning the air condition wasn’t working and the stopper in the tub was broken. The bed was hard as a brick, the furniture is old and outdated. There’s coffee in the room, but no coffee pot. I’m still trying to figure out why there’s a $100 incidental fee. The elevators need to be cleaned. The carpet in the halls needs to be vacuumed. DEFINITELY not your typical Hilton property. The place is gross. I told the front desk clerk about my room before checking out. About 30 minutes later, I received a email stating that I had a $0.00 balance. I was very thankful, and I thought that was great customer service! However, the next day my credit card was charged. When I called back to the hotel to tell them my problem, that my hotel room Receipt said it was a $0.00 balance but my credit card statement said that I have been charged $127. I asked them was there anyway that they can honor what my receipt said. I spoke with about 3 front desk clerks one was a manager, Chanell Flowers, “but not the general manager”. She was very rude to me and told me that I probably would never be able to stay at another Hilton/Hampton Hotel. Then I contacted corporate office where the lady asked me to send her a copy of the email that I received from the hotel. I did, and she immediately issued me a refund check for the balance that I was charged. All in all I would not recommend this particular Hampton Inn hotel. I am a Hilton honor member, and I love Hilton hotels. But I would never again stay at the Hampton Inn, Memphis-Southwind!"

"Plenty of parking. Room was clean. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Complimentary breakfast was good. Body soap from dispenser in shower was a bit low and unfortunately, the front desk ran out of shaving razors. Enjoyed my stay though."
