"Hotel is absolutely disgusting aside from currently renovating. The aroma of smoke is utterly overwhelming, bathtubs patched with flex seal, ceiling fans hanging by the wires, carpet has cigarette burns throughout, tvs don’t work, needles in the parking lot, trashed pool house, no front entrance, and to top everything off BEDBUGS. NOT A STRONG REPRESENTATION OF MEMPHIS. WILL CHARGE YOU FEE DIRECTLY AFTER RECEIVING REFUND FROM BOOKING SERVICE"

"Hotel is under major construction. We didn't stay and were able to get refunded. The pictures from the website do not indicate the actual status. The room smelled like mold and mildew. Thankfully the gentleman at the service desk was very nice and understanding. I do not think this hotel should be open until it has been remodeled and cleared by the city with inspections."

"To start this hotel is a CATFISH. A WHALE. We booked from the pictures on the website, the hotel is under renovations, the outside full of mud and construction materials, room conditions was horrendous, the state should require them to be closed until better room conditions. The bathroom was not useable with existing water and rust, stains on the headboards, mold look on the ceiling, broken entry door lock, etc…. We had to find another room desperately, This room cost me to double pay for my stay in Memphis. The front desk gentleman was very polite and willing to offer a partial refund."

"This hotel is trash! Driving into the parking lot there was a large mattress that everyone was driving over like it was no big deal. WARNING! The pictures on the website are NOT the actual hotel. They are what the hotel is going to be once they renovate! Walked in and the overwhelming smell of Marijuana takes your breathe away. While I was in the lobby the front desk worker, AJ, actually kicked out a homeless man and told him, "quit trying to sell drugs in this hotel". There is a myriad of issues with this hotel. They are in the process of closing to completely renovate and reopening under a new name. Meaning if you contact Baymont they do not care because this hotel is not going to be a part of them. I immediately called the place that I booked the hotel and told them about what was going on. After 5 hours of back and forth between the booking site and the front desk I finally got relocated to a different hotel. AFTER I had to pay for one night at this bad excuse of a hotel. I am out of a little over one hundred dollars because this hotel misrepresented itself. The whole place is packed with construction materials and debris. My best advice is to RUN! NONE of the amenities are available. Everything is either broken or stuffed full of remodeling equipment. The reason I was charged was because I allegedly did not let the front desk person know with in 15 minutes that I was dissatisfied. Which is a blatant lie."

"Talk about a nightmare from hell First off upon my arrival the outside looked nothing like the photos online. The widows had no from open building materials showing. The pool area was boarded up. Cracks all on the entire building. South side rear park lot area full of construction debris. I told my sister I absolutely do not want to get this hotel and definitely don’t care to stay in it. She insisted we go inside seeing as tho we had driven 28hrs from California to get there. I walk inside the floor are nasty they had rolls of carpet in the lobby. The breakfast area had broken down seats and tables. I was charged $180 for 2 nights previously when I booked online and the hotel clerk said I would need to pay an additional $50 deposit. I looked around and say why the deposit was required if the place #1 looks nothing like the photos and was clearly already damaged. We get past that and I go to our room after walking down the hallway with the filthy carpet it’s about a 7 out of 10 so I figured I could live with it. Later I lock the door only to realize it doesn’t lock. Went to front desk and told them they didn’t believe me so I told them to come see for themselves. The clerk couldn’t lock the door either gave me a refund for the night and fix it in the am. Then I ended up pushing a room sofa in front of the door for the night. The next morning I got a call telling me check out is at 11 and that they wouldn’t be fixing the door. They offered me 4 other rooms that were mold filled and smelled terrible so I declined. Went back into my original room ….they told me I needed to pay for the another night and do another deposit. My sister got a drill and fixed our door and then I asked my sister to take pics and videos that you see above."
