"I recently had an unfortunate experience with my weed eater. While trying to use it, I accidentally pushed the primer too hard, causing a hole in it. I decided to take it to Dickens for repairs, hoping to get it back in working condition. The total cost came to nearly $50, covering both parts and labor. However, when I returned home and attempted to start it, I was disappointed to find that it wouldn't start at all. I returned to Dickens to address the issue, and they informed me the reason it wouldn't start was a completely separate issue they couldn't fix that particular problem. It's frustrating to think that the weed eater was functioning perfectly before I broke the primer, and now it won't start at all after they fixed it. The situation is rather ironic, considering I paid them to repair a part, and now the machine is non-functional and they can't/won't fix it. If I wanted to burn a $50 bill I could've come up with a more exciting and creative way than this. I suggested a possible resolution, proposing that they offset the cost, allowing me to purchase a new one from their store. Unfortunately, they declined this offer. It's disheartening to receive this response, especially since I've been a loyal customer of Dickens for over a decade, relying on them for lawn mower servicing and grass seed purchases. I've also recommended their services to others who I know have gone there. My concern now is how they handle more significant issues if this is their response to a relatively minor problem. I had hoped for a more understanding and customer-friendly approach. Regrettably, I won't be recommending Dickens to anyone else in the future based on this experience. Heading to Home Depot..."

"Purchased a mower online from Toro, Dickens distributes for them. When a fraud alert blocked the order multiple times Dickens stepped in to get the issues resolved and worked patiently with me. Great service, I'll be going directly to them from now on."

"Had an awesome experience today with Dickens Turf & Landscape Supply. My Toro Mower was in dire need of a tune-up and I did some research online for parts, etc. and came across a tune-up kit that included everything needed including a new blade. I tried a couple of places that were supposed to have it but it seemed I was looking for a unicorn until one place recommended I try Dickens as they are a Toro distributor. While they didn’t have the complete kit I was looking for, they created one for me and I walked out of there a very happy camper and now my lawnmower runs like new. Many thanks to all of the guys behind the counter and back office who made this happen for me."

"Nice place with great selection of lawn care products. From seed to mowers and everything between. They have a blend of turf type tall fescue that is really nice. If your thinking about changing the grass in your lawn check them out. These pictures are of a 2 week progression. It's good stuff"
