"I was not asked to write this review, nor do I often feel compelled to write a review on my own volition; however, I was so pleased with Nationwide Carpet's service that I am writing this review. From the start, Nationwide Carpet was responsive to my requests and questions, even before I intended to commit to a purchase. I shopped around at four other retailers before committing to Nationwide Carpet. Their quote was the most reasonable and did not include any hidden charges or fees. This is a locally owned business, and everyone I encountered throughout the process was friendly, including the flooring installers. It took about four weeks from paying my deposit for my flooring to be delivered and installed, which I found to be an impressive turnaround. When I had some minor issues with my staircase installation, they were prompt to resolve it. Great folks that stand by their work!"

"We purchased carpet and installation for our master bedroom. After purchase, the issues began. The installation team ripped out our previous carpet. Only after taking the old carpet out did they realize that the carpet was not the right size. We were stuck living on a carpet pad with an exposed nail border for a week. As a family with pets, this was not ideal to say the least. We were afraid to let pets into the room due to the nails. Then the team came back for the installation. The installer asked where we wanted the seam to be. It was not explained at purchase that the carpet would have to be seamed. We told them that we wanted it hidden. Instead, a very visible seam was placed in a high traffic area, literally where you have to walk everyday to go from the bedroom to the bathroom. We went into the store to complain. We were told that they would look into it. Then we received a phone call saying it was too late to do anything to the carpet, and that we were stuck with it as is. We asked what they would do remedy the situation and never received a reply. We cannot advise strongly enough to pick another company. We will not use them for any projects in the future."
