"this service dept told me i needed new brakes, then 2 independent mechanics said they look perfectly good. they told me they drove the car but couldn’t hear the sound that happens constantly but those 2 mechanics heard it, turns out the axle is going. Albany Subarus Service Dept did nothing and charged me over $200 to get my car back in no less a dangerous state than i left it with them. i do not leave bad reviews; sometimes service isn’t great because people make mistakes and have bad days. this seemed deliberate and they responded in a way that made me think they are used to dealing with customers irate at being ripped off. I don’t want others to suffer too."
