"My fiancé and I booked a ride to a party earlier this year and here’s everything that went wrong. Driver- the person who showed up was not the person that we were introduced to as being our driver. The gentleman showed up on time but was obviously not aware he had a second job that day until the last minute. He had just come from a group using the vehicle and the inside of the vehicle showed that the company was unprepared. He was polite and accommodating, the Star in the review is for him. Inside- the inside was not cleaned, crumbs and food were all over the seats and the glasses all had lipstick stains on them. ( thankfully we brought our own cups so didn’t make a fuss) Music- the driver had no idea how to use the music system and I spent about 25 minutes of the ride trying to figure it out. After all, the point of the ride was to be fun and enjoyable so this was a big deal to us that there was no music. Temp- there was no way for the air conditioner to be turned off and everyone was freezing. Trying to huddle together cold. When we asked the driver, he didnt know how to turn it off and the controls in the back did not turn it off. We get back in to come home and more of the same, freezing and the music was dead. At this point I did throw a fit, we had one night to celebrate and these details that were missed were a crucial piece of the evening. Not to mention, we paid a big bill to have something simple; a safe ride in a fancy bus. We might as well have driven in a school bus. The part that really made me write this review is that we called THREE TIMES to talk to someone and discuss our experience. No one has called back and they have had three months to do so. Mistakes happen, last minute changes will always be a factor but CUSTOMER SERVICE IS EASY!! There are other services and rides in the area. Check those out first. Only in extremely desperate situations would I recommend hiring this company for a special day."
"Neumann was a savior for our wedding. Our venue was located just outside of Truckee but all local transportation was booked. Although they primarily service the Sacramento area, they were quick to take on the challenge of transporting 150 guests. We ended up adjusting our reservation and they were quick to refund the buses we no longer needed. We are grateful for their contribution to our special day. - Dax & Lo"
"Dear Neumann Transportation, I am writing this review to express my profound disappointment and utter dismay regarding my recent encounter with your company, which was marred by gross mismanagement, overcharging, and reckless driving. It was a regrettable journey that left me feeling cheated and fearful for my life. Manager Johnny's deceptive practices of quoting misleading prices were an unexpected blow. His blatant disregard for honest business practices and respect for customers is not only disheartening, but it's a breach of trust. Being overcharged significantly without any valid reason left me feeling exploited and betrayed. Such behavior is not only unethical but detrimental to your company's reputation. The reckless driving of your employee Armando further exacerbated the situation. His erratic driving gave the impression that he was indifferent towards our safety, making us feel like mere cargo rather than valued passengers. Every bump and reckless swerve on the road was a grim reminder that our lives were in the hands of someone who seemed to care very little about them. Regrettably, I am left with no option but to report this incident to the Better Business Bureau. It's distressing to imagine other unsuspecting customers falling victim to Johnny's duplicitous pricing schemes and Armando's dangerous driving. As a once-loyal customer, I implore anyone reading this review to carefully consider their options before entrusting their journeys to Neumann Transportation. Until significant improvements are made, I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this company to anyone else. This disappointing ordeal has made it clear that Neumann Transportation no longer stands for reliability, safety, and fair practices. I urge the company to take immediate corrective measures and ensure such gross negligence doesn't repeat. Actions such as these tarnish your reputation and betray the trust of the very people who once believed in your service. OVERALL-For those who do not choose to read that and continue to scroll I promise you taking this company will be your worst mistake."
"BRIDES BE WARNED Choosing Neumann Limo for shuttle service for our wedding was a regret to say the least. Beyond one of the managers, Johnny, who helped with booking the service, we had a horrible experience and would not recommend this company to anyone, especially to brides who want to have stress free vendors on their wedding day. We hired two shuttles to get guests to and from the venue. Ian was the first driver to arrive so that he could take the bridal party to the venue. To say it was a stressful shuttle ride is an extreme understatement. Although Ian seemed nice, his inability to critical think and listen to us led to heated frustration. We were already running late and he was to take us from where we were getting ready straight to the venue for pre-ceremony photos. Because the pickup schedule didn’t list the venue as the drop off location between picking us up and picking up the first guests, he was not driving in the correct direction. When we told him he missed the turn and that he needed to drop us off before picking any guests up, he told us no, he knew where he was going and he had specific instructions he needed to follow. I then mentioned that I’m the bride (keep in mind I’m wearing a huge white dress so it’s very evident that I’m the bride) and I don’t want guests seeing me before the ceremony. I told him that I’m the one paying for the bill and he needs to drop us off at the venue. But he kept driving anyways. My mother and mother-in-law, seeing how upset I was that he wouldn’t listen, became enraged and started to get involved. They told him to pull over immediately. He finally did and called my wedding planner to get approval from her. Again I was the one paying for the shuttles not the wedding planner, so the fact that Ian couldn’t understand this, even after me mentioning it several times, and deviate from what a paper was telling him to do versus his own customer was rather shocking. After my wedding planner confirmed that he absolutely needed to drop us off first before picking up guests, Ian turned around and brought us to the venue. There was no apology from Ian but he was helpful with getting our things off of the shuttle. We were very shaken from the experience and what made me even more sad is that we were 20 minutes late to photos which meant we were unable to get all of the group photos we had hoped for. Photographers are expensive so getting that time taken from us was a huge bummer. Since our wedding in mid-September we’ve called Neumann Limo six times. I’ve spoken with the owner, John, four times on the phone and each time he says he’ll get back to me and never does. Honestly, the biggest disappointment is that it was never acknowledged that a mistake was made by their team, nor did they try to rectify the issue. My biggest advice to Neumann limo, improve your customer service and listen to and acknowledge your customers. You created an extremely traumatic start to one of the best days of my life and to not even acknowledge that is a shame."
"We were at a appreciation event in May 2022. They had Neumann park our car. When we went to pick it up, we were told while parking the car they had opened my door into another car. Gavin the manager indicated that they would take care of everything! This has not happened! It has now been over a month and a half. Promises have been made and have never happened. I have now had to turn it into my insurance to get it fixed. Warning, it's a great service but! Very poor customer service."
