"Renato and his crew are they best, and I know. I drove a 20 year old car which needed to be in the shop every 3 months, so I've met them all. I finally settled on House of Hybrids when I traded that other one in for a used Prius and a check engine light popped up a month after I bought it. Another hybrid mechanic in the area said I needed to replace the head gasket when it was actually just a hose and Renato confirmed it, saving me thousands of dollars. I also had another issue with my car during Covid, and they came to my house to pick up the car themselves, 20 miles away, and not only fixed the issue, but charged 50% less than what the dealership quoted, and basically threw in an oil change and a valid thorough assessment of my vehicle. Awhile ago, I relocated to LA, and made the mistake of using a mechanic up here who botched a simple repair job, which ended up costing me my transmission, and he found a used one for me at an unbeatable price. They replaced and repaired it within a week and I was again up and running. My boyfriend also had his alternator replaced with him in a non-hybrid Lexus and we had no problem getting the car towed 50 miles to his shop, because he is the only mechanic we trust. The car has never run better, and it's been a year. They also charge sometimes 40-50% less than what mechanic's do in LA too. Once you meet him and his family, you trust that they have your best interests at heart and are not in it for the money, but simply to help others. I have referred countless people to him. You should be so lucky to have him in your corner. He'll even stay after hours if you need to pick up your car late, or need to discuss anything with him. A godsend!"
