"Best BBQ in Cali hands down. Certainly in socal. They do popups about once a week or two. Follow them on Instagram for details and how to order. You will not get better BBQ around here, I promise. Totally worth it."

"We tried the 14hr slow cooled Wagyu Beef Brisket and it was not only melt in your mouth tender but the spice rub on it was also perfect!! The BBQ chicken was equally amazing and the owners are very personable. We'll be back! Note, that while they have tables and chairs in their driveway, the place isn't really a restaurant so takeout is recommended."

"So, first time in LA and I’m on my own. I find a great place to go hiking in the canyons and when I’m done I happened upon cuckoos nest barbecue. Jesse and his family are delightful and the food is some of the best barbecue I’ve ever had. I come from Virginia which is well known for this stuff so that is saying some thing. Perfect! Thank you for your welcoming manner and your excellent food. It made my lovely day even better"
